Peter John Erbacher was born on 24 June 1883[1] in Queensland, Australia as the second child of Peter Erbacher and Mary Diflo. He had eight siblings, namely: Friedrich, Rose, Elizabeth, John Charles, Annie Christina, Mary Jane, Johanna Jessie, and Julia Mary.

When he was 21, He married Isabella Florence Ibell, daughter of James Ibell and Elizabeth Jone Attwell, in 1905[2] in Queensland, Australia.

Peter John Erbacher and Isabella Florence Ibell had the following children:

1. James Peter Erbacher was born on 08 December 1906 in Queensland, Australia. He married Lilian Angelina Bagnall in 1927 in Queensland, Australia. He died on 13 September 1934 in Yatala, Queensland, Australia.

2. Thomas William Erbacher was born on 30 July 1907 in Queensland, Australia. He married Evelyn May Plant in 1936 in Queensland, Australia. He died on 02 April 1957 in Queensland, Australia.

3. Henry John Erbacher was born on 22 June 1909 in Queensland, Australia. He died on 24 November 1960 in Queensland, Australia.

4. Isabel Maud Erbacher was born in 1911 in Queensland, Australia. She married James William Wilkes in 1933 in Queensland, Australia.

5. Edward Frances Erbacher was born in 1914 in Queensland, Australia.

Isabella Florence Erbacher died on 25 July 1920[3]  in Toowoomba, age 36, leaving Peter a widower with young children.

When he was 48, He married Elizabeth Theresa Kennedy,daughter of Francis Kennedy and Susan Burns, in 1932[4] in Queensland, Australia.

Peter John Erbacher and Elizabeth Theresa Kennedy had the following children:

1. Miriam Teresa Erbacher was born on 01 September 1936 in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. She died on 24 February 2007 in Caboolture, Queensland, Australia.

Peter died on 21 February 1965[5] in Drayton, Queensland, Australia, age 81.

Elizabeth died in 1981 in Toowoomba[6], Queensland, Australia, age 85.
