Peter Francis Robertson was born in 1875 in Mt Wormouth, England, United Kingdom as the ninth child of John Robertson and Margaret Maven. He had ten siblings, namely: Alexander, Thomas, Margaret, John, William Robert, Adam, Robert, Archibald, Daniel, and Agnes.

When he was 30, he married Elizabeth Ann Brigginshaw, daughter of Henry James Brigginshaw and Mary Brandahn, in 1905[1] in Queensland, Australia.

Peter Francis Robertson and Elizabeth Ann Brigginshaw had the following children:

1. Margaret Maven Robertson was born on 7 January 1907 in Bundaberg, Capricornia, Queensland, Australia. She married Francis Orpin on 28 July 1926 in Queensland, Australia. Margaret died on 5 August 1990 in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.

2. John Alexander Robertson was born on 17 January 1909 in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. He married Doris Jane Isabel Webb in 1932 in Queensland, Australia. John died on 29 April 1978 in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.

3. Peter Francis Robertson was born on 21 April 1913 in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. He died on 19 May 1925 in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.

Peter was employed as a miner. His religon was Methodist.

When he was 40, Peter joined the military as a Sapper in Tunnelling Companies, December 1916 Reinforcements. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A38 Ulysses on 25 October 1916. His Regimental number - 6050. He returned to Australia 31 May 1919.

Peter died on 28 January 1927[2] in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, age 52.

Elizabeth died on 12 November 1960[3] in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, age 84.
