Olive Mary Elizabeth Wilson was born on 22 April 1913[1] in Queensland, Australia as the first child of Francis Wilson and Elizabeth Erbacher. She had three siblings, namely: Myrtle Gwendoline, Ivy Beatrice, and a stillborn twin for Myrtle.

When she was 20, Olive married William Charles Ross, son of Alexander Herbert Ross and Mary Emma May Hockey, in 1934[2] in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Olive Mary Elizabeth Wilson and William Charles Ross had the following children:

1. Joyce Beverly Ross was born in 1935 in Australia.

2. Bettine Olivette Ross was born in Australia.

3. Carol Frances Ross was born in Australia.

4. Neville Alexander Ross was born on 11 February 1943 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He married Janice Ellen Fielder on 4 June 1966 in Brisbane, Qld. They divorced in 1980.

5. Barbara Joan Ross was born in Australia.

6. David Anthony Ross was born in Australia.

Olive died on 17 March 2012 in Mitchelton, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, age 98.

She was buried on 22 March 2012.
