Myrtle Gwendoline Wilson was born in 1915[1] in Queensland, Australia as the second
child of Francis Wilson and Elizabeth Erbacher. She had three siblings, namely: Olive
Mary Elizabeth, Ivy Beatrice, and a stillborn twin for Myrtle.
Myrtle married John McEnery, son of Augustus Thomas Joseph McEnery and Catherine
Maria Costigan, on 28 January 1939[2] in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
John McEnery and Myrtle Gwendoline Wilson had the following children:
1. Graham Francis McEnery was born on 16 May 1945 in Women's Intermediate Hospital,
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
2. Lorralei Ann McEnery was born on 17 April 1947 in Queensland, Australia.
Myrtle died in 1981[3] in Queensland, Australia, age 66.

BRIDE'S AFTERNOON FROCK - McEnery— Wilson Wedding - AN afternoon frock of pink germaine
was chosen by Miss Myrtle Gwendoline Wilson (second daughter of Mrs. E. Wilson) for
her marriage to Mr. John McEnery (second son of Mr. And Mrs. A. T. J. McEnery) at
St. Stephen's Cathedral on Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Dr. J. English officiated.
Diagonal pintucking formed an effective finish for the frock worn by the bride, who
was given away by her brother-in-law. Mr. William Ross. Her large natural knotted
straw hat was trimmed, with a dusty pink fringe, and her bouquet of asters shaded
from pink to lavender. Miss Ivy Wilson (the bride's sister), as bridesmaid, wore
a frock of cornflower blue georgette. Plntucking and touches of lace trimmed the
frock, and she carried a bouquet of pink gladioli touched with cornflower blue. Mr.
D. McEnery (the bridegroom's brother) was best man. Receiving the guests at the Jenolan
Cafe, Mrs. Wilson wore a frock in old rose tonings, to which she added black accessories.
She carried a posy of multicoloured carnations. The bride groom's mother topped
her floral marquisette frock with an eau de nil picture hat, and her bouquet was
of ...ers Leaving by car for the honeymoon, which will be spent touring to Monto,
their future home. Mrs. John McEnery wore black novelty crepe with inlet . ?-. .'s
of silver, brocaded lame, and a h i. :- hat.
