May Angela Ross was born on 01 September 1892[1] in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia as the seventh child of William Monsoon Ross and Honorah Mary Teresa Horrigan. She had seven siblings, namely: William Hardy, Edmund Angus, Alexander Herbert, Lillian Alice, James Edwin, Bertram Thomas, and Ivy Monsoon.

When she was 28, She married John Joseph Keating on 27 November 1920[2].

May Angela Ross and John Joseph Keating had the following children:

1. Clifford John Keating

2. Margaret Eugenie Keating

3. Nola Teresa Keating

4. Raymond Joseph Keating

In 1958, May lived at 155 Sydney St, New Farm.

John died in 1979[3] in New Farm, Queensland, Australia, age 87.

May died in 1979[4] in New Farm, Queensland, Australia, age 86.
