Mary Hannah Dora Borchardt was born in 1857 in Uckermark, Brandenburg, Germany as the first child of Christian Friedrich Borchardt and Maria Elisabeth Koppen. She had three siblings, namely: Ernest, Frederick William, and Hannah Frederica Louisa.

When she was 23, Mary married Peter Vock, son of Martin Vock and Wiebke Muller, on 14 April 1880[1] in Queensland, Australia.

Peter Vock and Mary Hannah Dora Borchardt had the following children:

1. Mary Vock was born in 1880 in Queensland. She died in 1966.

2. Louisa Vock was born on 11 October 1880 in Queensland. She married William Schuh on 19 September 1899. She died in 1966 in Bundaberg, Queensland.

3. John Peter Vock was born in 1882 in Queensland. He died in 1887 in Queensland.

4. William Vock was born in 1884 in Mt Perry, Queensland. He married Martha Wilhelmina  Auguste Ehlert in 1913. He died in 1972 in Bundaberg, Queensland.

5. Ernest Vock was born in 1885 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 1886 in Queensland.

6. Charles Henry Vock was born in 1886 in Queensland. He died in 1969 in Bundaberg, Queensland.

7. Johanna Mary Ann Vock was born on 23 September 1888 in Queensland. She married Thomas Valentine Condon on 19 July 1916 in Queensland. She died in 1966.

8. Peter Marten (Martin) Vock was born on 17 November 1890 in Mount Perry, Queensland. He died on 24 August 1947 in Gladstone, Queensland.

9. August Julius Vock was born in 1895 in Queensland. He died in 1965 in Queensland.

Peter Vock died in 1901, leaving her a widow at Barolin St, Bundaburg.

Two years later, when she was 46, Mary married Daniel Haughton, son of Adam Haughton and Catherine Dolan, in 1903[2]. They had no children.

Daniel died in 1928[3] in Queensland, Australia.

Mary died on 18 September 1935[4] in Queensland, age 78.
