Louisa Agnes Fielder was born on 18 March 1873[1] in Queensland, Australia as the ninth child of William Henry Fielder and Lucy Ward. She had eleven siblings, namely: Walter, William Henry, Angelina Elizabeth, Mary Ann, James, Sarah, John Thomas, Clara Agnes, Euphemia Alice, Edward Albert Robert, and Beatrice.

When she was 21, Louisa married Isaac Welch, son of Henry Welch and Elizabeth Witheyman, in 1895[2] in Queensland, Australia.

Louisas’ brother John Thomas Fielder married Isaacs’ sister Jane Welch.

Isaac Welch and Louisa Agnes Fielder had the following children:

1. Beatrice Pearlie Welch was born on 25 February 1896 in Queensland, Australia. She married Adolph Fredrick William McNab in 1918 in Queensland, Australia. Beatrice died in 1980 in Queensland, Australia.

2. Leslie John Welch was born on 16 January 1900 in Queensland, Australia. He married Ivy Milson Gray in 1922 in Queensland, Australia. Leslie died on 14 September 1947 in Queensland, Australia.

3. Eileen Ethel Welch was born in 1904 in Queensland, Australia. She married Roy Nicholas Gray in 1927 in Queensland, Australia. Eileen died in 1989 in Queensland, Australia.

Louisa died on 5 June 1938[3] in Queensland, Australia, age 65. She is buried in Tamrookum All Saints church cemetery, Beaudesert.

Isaac died on 17 July 1957[4] in Coomera, Queensland, Australia, age 90.

STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR. - Isaac Welch of Rathdowney was knocked down by a motor car while crossing George-street yesterday afternoon and injured on the head and shoulder. He was taken to a private hospital for treatment.

The death is announced of Mrs. Isaac Welch, aged 65. she came to Tamborine with her parents about 54 years ago, and is survived by her husband, one son, and two daughters. For many years she resided at Rathdowney.
