Lionel Arthur Fielder was born in 1910[1] in Queensland, Australia as the fourth child of William Henry Fielder and Elizabeth Olsen. He had eight siblings, namely: Kathleen Eveline, William Henry, Irene Jessie, Eva Joyce, Stella, Horace Allan, Phyllis, and Keith Franklyn.

When he was 24, He married Kathleen Mary Hayes,daughter of Edward Bryan Hayes and Sarah Ann Titcombe, in 1934[2] in Queensland, Australia.

Lionel Arthur Fielder and Kathleen Mary Hayes had the following children:

1. Kathleen Fielder. She died in April 1942 in Queensland, Australia, age 7 hours.

2. Lionel Fielder. He died in April 1942 in Queensland, age 10 hours.

3. Patricia Margaret Fielder. She died in 1951 in Queensland, age 11 months.

4. Raymond Kenneth Fielder. He died on 26 April 1955 in Queensland, age 6.

Lionel died in 1974[3] in Queensland, Australia, age 64.

Kathleen died in 1983[4]  in Queensland, Australia.

killed today when the rear wheel of a semi-trailer truck crushed his head. The boy ran into the vehicle's path.
