Friedrich Erbacher was born on 01 April 1881[1] in Queensland, Australia as the first child of Peter Erbacher and Mary Diflo. He had eight siblings, namely: Peter John, Rose, Elizabeth, John Charles, Annie Christina, Mary Jane, Johanna Jessie, and Julia Mary.

When he was 17, He married Mary Ellen Cussen,daughter of John Cussen and Margaret Barry, in 1899[2] in Queensland, Australia.

Friedrich Erbacher and Mary Ellen Cussen had the following children:

1. Agnes Catherine Erbacher was born in 1899 in Queensland, Australia. She married Michael George Joseph Keim in 1916 in Queensland, Australia. She died in 1974 in Queensland, Australia.

2. John Cussen Erbacher was born in 1900 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 1915 in Queensland, Australia.

3. James Erbacher was born in 1902 in Queensland, Australia.

4. Isabella Florence Erbacher was born in 1910 in Queensland, Australia. She married Claud William Welsh in 1936 in Queensland, Australia.

5. Bernard Erbacher was born in 1912 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 1930 in Queensland, Australia.

6. Myles William Erbacher was born in 1915 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 1919 in Queensland, Australia.

In 1919 they lived in Lowry street, North Ipswich.

Mary died in 1946[3]  in Queensland, Australia, age 67.

Friedrich died on 19 October 1965[4] in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, age 84.
