Euphemia Alice Fielder was born on 13 November 1875[1] in South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia as the tenth child of William Henry Fielder and Lucy Ward. She had eleven siblings, namely: Walter, William Henry, Angelina Elizabeth, Mary Ann, James, Sarah, John Thomas, Clara Agnes, Louisa Agnes, Edward Albert Robert, and Beatrice.

 

Euphemia was also known as Fanny.

 

When she was 32, Euphemia married Francis William Henry Nalder, son of Henry Herbert Nalder and Agnes Alice Wood, in 1908[2] in Queensland, Australia.

 

Francis was a Marine Engineer.

 

Francis William Henry Nalder and Euphemia Alice Fielder had the following child:

 

1. Eric Francis Nalder was born in 1914 in Queensland, Australia. He married Beryl Gwynne Cross in 1935 in Queensland, Australia. Eric died in 1979 in Queensland, Australia.

 

Francis died on 3 December 1929[3] in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, age 49.

 

Euphemia died on 14 October 1942[4] in South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, age 66.

Accident on the Suva. The third engineer of the Suva (Mr.Francis Nalder) met with a nasty accident yesterday while at work in the engine room of the steamer. Some parts of the machinery were receiving attention, when an iron bar fell on him, and fractured his left collarbone First aid was rendered by the Ambulance Brigade, and the patient was removed to the General Hospital.
