Ernest (Ernie) William Vock was born in 1914[1] in Mt Morgan, Queensland, Australia as the first child of William Vock and Martha (Wilhelmina) Auguste Ehlert. He had three siblings, namely: Ellen Augusta, John Frederick, and Beryl May.

Ernest was known as Ernie.

Ernie never married.

Ernest died in 1985[2] in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia, age 71. He was stuck and killed by a car while riding his bicycle. He is buried Bundaberg General and Lawn Cemetery.
