Bertram Thomas Ross was born on 02 August 1889[1] in Queensland, Australia as the sixth child of William Monsoon Ross and Honorah Mary Teresa Horrigan. He had seven siblings, namely: William Hardy, Edmund Angus, Alexander Herbert, Lillian Alice, James Edwin, May Angela, and Ivy Monsoon.

Bertram was employed as a Mattress Maker.

When he was 21, He married Gertrude Elizabeth Bergin on 11 August 1910[2].

Bertram Thomas Ross and Gertrude Elizabeth Bergin had the following children:

1. Allan Ross.

2. James Vincent Ross was born on 1912 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He died on 04 June 1978 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

3. Bertram Leo Ross was born on 21 May 1915 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He died on 09 November 1943 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

4. Cyril Ross was born on 06 October 1917 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He died in 2010 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

In 1913, his address was 8 Hipwood St, Spring Hill.

In 1919, his address was Beatice St, Jubilee.

In 1954, his address was 48 Douglas St, Spring Hill

Gertrude died on 12 November 1924[3]  in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Bertram died in 1971[4] in Brisbane, age 81. He is buried with his sister Lillian Alice Ross in the Toowong Cemetery, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Plot: Portion 9, Section 17, Allotment 14.
