| Summary |
| During this module we have looked at sources on the
Internet: on-line indexes and web sites. The Internet is a vast storehouse of possibilities for genealogical research. So vast that it is quite easy to get lost . Our web browsers have a few tools that are designed to help us find our way. You are encouraged to use Favorites or bookmarks to save the addresses of important web sites. By creating and naming folders within Favorites enables a more structured way of grouping web sites. A sub-folder named Genealogy in which we store web sites related to genealogy goes a long way towards creating a structured resource that can be quickly used during our on-line research. |
