The Results List is an alternative way of displaying the results from the search and here we can see many records at the same time.  Notice the two deaths (D) in the Event column, amongst all the births (B).  By clicking on a header name we can sort the list by header .  The example has been sorted by Year (Yr) and therefore we can see a list of events over time.  Notice that there are two variants to the spelling of Bridget's maiden Surname, one a clear mistake in transcription, DAVIS and DAVIES.  If we had searched for DAVIS only in the search criteria then one birth would have been missed.  All the birth registration numbers are shown (Regno).

Save the results: the above Results List can be printed to paper or saved to a file on disk. However, we have not finished with this family.  Nicholas and Bridget had more than 9 children and so we must look on the following CDs to gather the complete sequence of events for this family.  [ Click on Open Database to continue ]
