"Jerry-Lee"Powder Red Merle, Copper, White DOB: 7 April 1992 Eyes clear 1998 OFA Excellent 24 months Jerry-Lee was the first red merle American Champion Australian Shepherd imported to the country and is one of the typiest dogs ever seen here. A dog whose type and style is recognised by International judges, he introduces some very influential bloodlines into Australia. Jerry is the nephew of Am Ch Bayshores Flapjack winner of the 1996 Quaker Oats Herding dog of the Year with an amazing 98 Best in Group wins! Interested bitch owners should contact Silvanwood regarding details for stud or semen collection. Don't miss out on the opportunity to use a male of such strong breed type - the only link here in Australia to the famous Ch Bayshores Flapjack (dec.) A natural retriever Jerry-Lee can always be found with a toy, shoe, sock or any other moveable object in his mouth. It is extremely common to find visitors hopping down the hall in one shoe looking valiently for its missing mate. Never damaged these shoes can be found in Jerry's crate! Arriving as a mature stud dog Jerry was a very sober dog and was always well behaved. Recently he has begun a second puppyhood and is enjoying silly games with toys and chewing up anything he thinks is OK. Being a sensible dog underneath he never picks the wrong things. Jerry completed his Australian Championship with some very good wins and is now semi retired. He is proving himself to be an excellent stud and produces pups with exceptional temperaments, type and coat. Leanne & Owen Edwards of Lucratif Kennels in Western Australia and Leonie Pearson of Littlemate Kennels in Queensland have both produced very nice litters sired by Jerry-Lee. From only 8 litters in Australia, Jerry-Lee has produced 14 Australian and 2 South African Champions, plus many obedience and agility titled offspring, with several of these litters still under one year of age.
