Personality: Kirika is an extremely strange, almost creepy, schoolgirl who suffers from amnesia. She can also kill very easily, even though she doesn't know why. However, her stunning skills of accuracy and instinct have assisted Mireille numerous times, and she has proved herself to be a deadly and dangerous killer. She is very quiet and watchful, and hardly says a word to anyone except Mireille. Despite the fact that it is no struggle for her to kill, she often wonders why she is not sad when she has murdered so many people. And all Mireille can offer is, "If we knew, I'd be able to kill you."
Other Info: Kirika is a girl in search of her past, one that she can't remember. When she awoke one morning, all she found was an ID card with her picture on it, a Beretta M1934 Commercial gun and a hand-watch that plays a tune whenever it is opened. Kirika didn't know or remember anything except that she was Noir. (Watashi wa...dare? Watashi wa...Nowa-ru = who am...I? I am...Noir) Somehow Kirika knew that the watch had something to do with an assassin called Mireille Bouquet, and called for her. From that day onwards, Kirika lived with Mireille in France, and together they formed the deadly assassin team known only as Noir, but their true search is for Kirika's past.

Name: Mireille Bouquet
Age: 20
Occupation: Professional assassin
Personality: Mireille can be what is described as rather cold at first. She can kill very easily, probably because she is used to it from years of being one of the highest ranking assassins in the business. However, Mireille does have some feelings, she can experience the thing that normal humans feel - pain, loss, hurt - which shows that she does have some humanity left in her. Traumatic flashbacks of her past, usually brought on by a hand-watch's tune, can reduce her to trembling girl, which makes the viewer question exactly what did happen to her in the past. Although her skills are not as well honed as Kirika and Chloe, she is a worthy opponent.
Other Info: Mireille's country of origin is France (more specifically, Corsica) and from there spawns the secrets of her past. She is constantly on her guard and has extremely quick reflexes. She carries a Walther P99 gun almost everywhere she goes and can use it with incredible precision and accuracy. When she first met Kirika, she was suspicious and cautious in approaching her, and a hand-watch that Kirika found seems to affect Mireille everytime its haunting tune plays. Mireille's assassinations seem to possess a certain style and charm, one that she states that Kirika lacks. Mireille has said quite a few times that once she discovers what exactly Kirika has to do with her past, she will kill Kirika, and in understanding, Kirika always replies, "I'll be waiting...until that time."

Name: Chloe
Age: 16-18
Occupation: Soldats assassin
Personality: Chloe made her first big appearance in episode 10: True Noir. She is a mysterious character who possesses extremely impressive killing skills, especially with her knives. Appearing at just the right moments, Chloe seems to lurk into shadows, silently watching over everything. She refers to herself and to Kirika and "Shin no Noir" which means that she feels that she and Kirika and are the true Noir team, not Kirika and Mireille. Allthough initially Chloe wanted to be Mireille's friend because Kirika was her friend, her jealousy of Mireille can be seen taken to the extreme near the end of the series. In a certain way, she feels "inspired" by Kirika.
Other Info: Chloe was raised by Altena at the Manor, a historic ruin that lies between the border of France and Spain. It is a place that is not any map, a place forgotten by time. There is evidence to support that Kirika was also raised there by Altena along with Chloe before she lost her memories. Despite the fact that Chloe can kill without the slightest hesitation, and obeys without question Altena's commands, she was not born cold and unfeeling. Altena's training is what actually molded her into the dangerous assassin of Soldat she is now.

Personality: "Altena is strict but kind". That is what Chloe regards her guardian as, but it is obvious that Altena is not just those things. Altena is a strange character, she seems to treat both Chloe and Kirika well, but there is a certain evil darkness to her. She seems to be using Chloe and Kirika to possess absolute power over the Soldats, and ultimately over the world. She is feared even by other Soldats members, and not all agree with her methods.
Other Info: As a child, Altena was raped by a foot soldier, and this may have played a large role in determining the person she was to grow up to be. Altena truly believes that "If love can kill people, then hatred can definitely save people", which seems to be the foundation on which she bases all her practices on. She is determined to test all three "trees" to see which two would be the better candidate for a team as Noir, as Noir is a name for an assassin team comprised of only two. She does not seem to care who dies in the process, even if it is herself, as long as she fulfills her beliefs.
