There are many theories circulating around about Neon Genesis Evangelion's true meaning and what it all represents. Every Evangelion fan knows that every single element and happening in the series has a reason behind it, and each of these elements play an important role in the understanding of the plot. This is what makes Evangelion such an astonishing series, an anime that is above all the rest and leaves all its viewers in a state of utter shock.
