BROWN
Our BROWN line comes from the midlands of England in the Birmingham area. Related family names are GARDINER, JONES, CALLOW and RICHARDS. The line goes back to John BROWN who was born at Brierley Hill, Staffordshire (now a suburb of Birmingham) about 1806. John's wife Bridgett was a lass born in Ireland about 1810. Their son Joseph Solomon BROWN was born in Birmingham about 1830. He and his family migrated to Australia in 1881. Theirs is the story of The BROWNs of Warwickshire.
