Born 1951, I'm married with six children. We live in Sydney, Australia. I've been researching my family history for several decades. I was inspired to start by the late Arthur Hammell, my father's cousin, who had traced the HAMMELL name back to our convict forebears who arrived in Botany Bay in Governor Macquarie's time.
