Out of Area Customers
Free Estimating Service

For out of area customers a free estimating service is available.

This estimate will be satisfactory for you to apply for Government funding or simply to "find out" how much funds you may
need to raise to install a system in your school. Conditions do apply so please read carefully below.

Our "Free Estimates" service provides a way that we can raise a basic design for your school and provide pricing without
actually attending your school. Instead estimate pricing methods are used based on actual prices paid by other schools with
buildings and layouts similar to yours.

Warning - An Estimate is NOT A QUOTE. You cannot proceed with a job based on an estimate alone. Your job MUST be quoted (with an on site visit) before an order can be issued and a job can go ahead.

Here's how the remote area estimating system works:

1. ) You contact us and talk on the 'phone or via email about your needs.
2. ) We fax or email you a simple questionaire which asks you some questions about your school, for example;
• Age and history of buildings
• Presence or absence of data cabling, existing bell or PA systems, proximty of neighbours, presence
of air conditioning etc etc.

3. ) You fax the questionaire back to us along with a simple A4 sized map or block / room plan of your school.
4. ) We prepare and fax you a FREE estimate based on this data.
5. ) If you later wish to proceed your job must first be fully quoted - this involves a site visit and quote fee.
This fee is usually $375 for out of area customers in NSW but can be reduced if there are several schools
in your area (or on the way) who each wish to get a system quote for their school.

6. ) We then fax you a full, comprehensive design and quote which you can use to obtain competing quotes.
7. ) If you decide to get us to do the job then the quote fee will be deducted off the contract price once complete.

We know how hard it can be in regional areas to get things done in schools, especially when the trades and
materials you need are not always available. That's why we offer our remote area estimating system - it gives remote
schools the same quality service and installation that we've been giving our metropolitan customers for years!
