Repairing IE6

If Internet Explorer misbehaves ( i.e. Internet Explorer has encountered a user-defined break point ) after install Service Pack 2 for Windows XP, try the following steps:

1. Find C:\Windows\Inf\ie.inf
2. Right click-> install
3. When prompted for Service Pack 2 CD, point the installer at: C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386
4. Whe prompted for Windows XP CD, insert it
5. Wait for the installer to finish
