Thanks
to some light reading for providing me with a revelation for life! I've
always used face products, particularly face scrubs and always thought it would
be best to use them after a shave to assist and cleansing away all the dead skin
and follicles left behind after a shave. Nooooooooo! Plan A is to
use face scrub before you shave as it helps soften the beard and open the
skin pores, which further softens the follicles. Tops! You'll find
shaving a breeze after doing this. Nivea's Deep Cleansing Face Scrub is
one of the better scrubs I've used, mostly because its designed for a male's
skin. It isn't the best however, Doves make a nice one too, but
Nivea's version is a bit cheaper.
Cleanse away!
Lads
who don't use moisturiser, switch now! Lads who do use moisturiser and
aren't using this, I urge you to give it a go. Put this stuff on after
you've shaved, and before you apply any kind've smell-nice, especially the
alcohol based stuff, youch! It'll tone and tighten the skin and actually
close up the skin pores that were opened during a shave, and prevent them from
accumulating as much grit as they otherwise would.
31 years old and only just realising this, "information that would've been useful 10 YEARS AGO!".
