DB Super Dry

I couldn't find a picture of the label anywhere I'm sorry, so the bottle cap will just have to do.  How ocker!  Now speaking of ocker, there's nothing more ocker than knocking back a few cold ones with mates, and if you find this drop in your local, don't hesitate to pick up a six pack and let the good times roll.  DB have emulated what Tooheys did back in the early 90's with their original Tooheys Dry.  Leaves the Extra Dry crap for dead, I was gutted when they changed the formula.

But times change and so must we.  For anyone that remembers the original Tooheys Dry, well that's exactly how this tastes.  A full bodied flavour that practically leaves your palate immediately after each mouthful.  Its very similar to a Pilsner actually, but where Pilsner is light on flavour this is very robust.  The stubby is quite Budweiser-like in shape however at only 330ml I felt a little ripped off. I don't think its a beer you could drink all night, but if you're in need of one or two cold ones - and these things taste best on the brink of freezing - this is absolutely perfect.

Woollies Liquor are retailing this for about 29 bucks a case at the moment so strike while the iron's hot.  I don't think it'll stick around for too long, though I'd love to be nicely surprised.  By the way the label is all in navy blue in case you're looking for a single in the fridge.

Tops!
