Although I raced this car a few times it was not very competitive, but a good car to learn race driving. It also demonstrated the strength and reliability of Mitsubishi products, since nothing ever broke or went wrong! I owned this car for 8 years then returned it to standard specification and sold it. I haven't seen it since.

A nice car, quite fast, very good for long distance driving. I kept the Celica for about 2 years, selling it to a friend who had it for another couple of years and raced it a few times. I kept seeing this car on the road for many years after but when I last saw it in 1998 it was looking pretty rough with a lot of rust.

1974 ALFA ROMEO MONTREAL

The only car I have had stolen from me! Fortunately it was recovered without damage but I sold it soon after. I owned it for about 2 years, it then had another local owner before being sold to someone in Queensland. I lost track of it then so I don't know the current whereabouts of this car.

1980 MITSUBISHI LANCER HATCHBACK
Engine: 2.6 litre Astron
Gearbox: 5 speed manual

Although 8 years old when I bought it, the Lancer was in excellent condition. I fitted a highly modified 2.6 motor, Starion 4 wheel disc brakes and LSD and it was FAST! The speedo read to 200km/h but the needle went way beyond that. (On the race track of course!) I had this car for 10 years and returned it to standard form to sell to some friends as a family car, refitting the original 1.6 engine which I had kept all that time. About a year later this car was crashed beyond repair.

What a great car!. Not particularly fast but just so nice to drive and a lot of fun on twisty roads. Featured air conditioning, CD player, 15" Enkei wheels and a MOMO steering wheel. Mechanically standard. Excellent fuel economy.

My second Mirage, very similar to my previous car but newer and redder! (my first ever red car) I love Mirages!
Sold in 2011, still like a new car, I never had a single problem with either of my Mirages.

Only 2 wheels? That's not a car! But that's what I use every day now. Great machine, surprisingly powerful and amazing fuel economy - 46km per litre!

The first time in 30 years that I haven't owned a Mitsubishi, although the Jumbuck is based on a Lancer so it is related. Features 17" wheels and a MOMO steering wheel.
Can carry the scooter in the back if need be.
