When parking the appliance and moving about the incident site, there are two important considerations in regard to building collapse:

Establish a safe zone at least 1.5 times the height of the structure standing.
Consider parking closer to the building if you place the appliance off the corner of the structure. In the example you can see that the debris will fall outwards and usually leave the corner as a safe zone.
