Swiss Style Cheese Tart

Ingredients

  • 125g Perfect Shredded Romano Cheese
  • 125g Perfect Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 125g Perfect Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2        Sheets Pampas Puff Pastry
  • 3        Eggs
  • 200mL Cream
  • 200mL Milk
  • 1 tsp        Cornflour
  • Pepper to taste
  • Paprika

Preparations

Preheat oven to 200 deg C

  • Grease a 250 mm by 20 mm deep round baking dish.
  • Line the baking dish with the defrosted puff pastry making joints where needed.
  • Mix the Romano, Parmesan and Mozzarella in a bowl.
  • Place the cheese mixture evenly into the lined baking dish.
  • Mix the eggs, cream, milk, cornflour and season with pepper
  • Pour the mixture evenly over the cheese mixture.
  • Use a fork to gently press the cheese into the liquid until all is covered
  • Sprinkle the surface lightly with paprika.
  • Bake in oven 200 deg C for 40 -50 minutes until surface is brown.
  • Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Tastes good warm or cold.
  • Serves 4-6
