This is a follow on guide for two optional options that you can do to the XP CD, the first being beneficial to all the second only to users of NVIDIA NFORE4 systems who use SATA hard drives.

The first one: Is the RVMUpdatePack which brings you XP with SP2 up to date with all of the latest hotfixes released by Microsoft since SP2's release.
The second is: nForce 4 motherboard owners who use SATA drivers.


You will need the RVMUpdatePack from here and if you’re going to integrate NVIDIA RAID drivers you will need to download the NVIDIA platform drivers from here.

NOTE: If you don’t have a NVIDIA NF4 motherboard and don’t use SATA hard drives don’t do the SATA RAID driver integration.
If you’re going to do either of the below and your XP CD doesn’t already have SP2 read my guide here on slipstreaming SP2 to see what you will need to do also.

First if you’re going to integrate the SATA RAID drivers you will need to do some preparation download the platform drivers currently 6.70 for AMD nForce 4.

Step 1: Once downloaded and extract the contests of the folder delete all but the IDE folder.
Step 2: Open the IDE folder then the WinXP folder.
Step 3: The main folder you will be working with is called sataraid
Step 4: Before you can integrate you will need to copy files from the legacy folder into the sataraid folder the files you will need to copy are NVATABUS.INF, NVIDE.NVU and NVCOI.DLL
Step 5: Make sure that the sataraid folder includes the following files: NVATABUS.INF, NVATA.CAT, NVIDE.NVU and NVCOI.DLL
The sataraid folder is now prepared for nLite.

This is how the sataraid folder should now look.

This what is will look like in nLite assuming you have a XP CD with SP2 and are doing either or both of the optional updates.
Once you have selected what you’re going to integrate make sure to select Create a Bootable ISO then click next.

You will now need to select the RVMUpdatePack to do so click insert and navigate to where you downloaded them.
Once you have done this select open then click next.






Next click Insert and select Single driver.






You will now need to navigate to the prepared sataraid folder open it and select nvata.inf and click open.






Next you will see this window leave it set as Textmode driver and both of the required files selected and click ok.

Next you will see the below the next step now is to click next.

Next you will see this widows click yes.






If you see this window click ok.






nLite will apply the changes to the installation and finalise it.






Next step is to create the ISO click next and go here.
