This is my SmoothWall Firewall system.
| It's an old computer originally brought in 1997 which I have had stored away for a few years now. It’s only recently that I acquired NIC’s (network interface cards) for it and put it to good use as a Linux firewall. The basic specifications of it are an Intel Pentium 133MHz, 32MG of ram and a 2GB hard drive. |
| This is what it looks like from the back as you can see I don’t have a monitor or keyboard and mouse connected. The reason for this is they aren’t need except when you first install SmoothWall after its set up you use a web browser to manage and configure the software. |
