Welcome!
Thank you for visiting me here. Although still in its primitive stages I
have - as in art and life - great ambitions for this site. But for the moment I'll keep it
simple. The hardest thing to write, I find, are
biographical notes, all that stuff about where you was born, grew up, went to
school, lived and travelled to, so I shall leave it out. Enough to say I currently live in
Tasmania, I have two adult sons who don't live with me and a ginger cat who
does. I shall mention instead my passions. I
love language and literature; I delight in the life of the imagination; I am
fascinated by the stories of other people's lives. Surely that is enough reason to write. As a consequence of these passions I
write fiction, oral history, articles, reviews, biography, and poetry. Examples of my work can be found in My Bookcase and on the New Work page. Before I gave it up to write my day job
was teaching adults and as a consequence I have many years experience as a
teacher - you can check out C.V. These days I mainly
teach creative writing. Watch
