Don't forget, these prices are GST exempt, Australians please add 10% all circuit boards are based on (Len x Wid) + (Holes x K) + (Sides x K) many the time we get artworks, reader submitted and some by new circuit board layout folks (with very little basic background knowledge) with results presented to us that are way below older existing standards and so the result we have to spend considerable time in making the artworks actually commercially makeable, so if you see above an artwork deemed by us here at RCS Radio with in excess of 65 actual years of practical experience as *NFS*, not for sale, then if we have time, then we will repair it to standard and it will be a mk2, but sadly sometimes, time does not permit repairs, sorry And I will be moving about 2011 Oct/Nov down to much cooooooler country with no traffik lights or no never ending bullshit spin from politicians so please check out http://www.rcsradio.com.au/move2583.htm but still making circuit boards, after a 4 month gap, I await comments ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ALL THESE PRICES ARE GST EXEMPT for Overseas sales SO AUSTRALIANS +10% ----------------------------------------------------------------------- We can NOT use or MAKE EAGLE Artworks into circuit boards, for the simple reason, it is NOT a real INDUSTRIAL CAD Program that we have observed and used for the last 30+ years it is an excellent free-by intro CAD Program to teach 'begginers' how it can be done the el-cheapo way but we do NOT use it, because of the never ending 'upgrades',so saddly we will not waste our time and use, it is a home brew D.I.Y. CAD program and commercial board makers don't have the D.I.Y. programs to play out the files so that we can create U.V. Negs needed to make the circuit boards as presented, sorry. also we do not have the necessary *.BRD files, nor does any serious other commercial board maker, (that we know of) so we let the kit makers purchase the blank boards from overseas. Sure it can be re-drawn up in correctly in PROTEL but all this takes TIME. bottom line, it is irresponsible to go to a commercial board maker with a pcb file that is a non-standard, might as well use PC Paint or PAINTBRUSH or go to your local car dealer with a few 8 x 4 sheets of flat steel and ask for some motor car panels to be fabricated, same idiocy. It is a freeby Do It Your Self schematic > a/w home brew program as like so many others on the WEB we hear about. KiCad, Eagle, Diptrace, Sprint now these freeby programs are NOT REAL ARTWORK progs. that Industry use - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - As RCS is the oldest board maker in the world (circa 1943 for boards) and we have every project ever 'publically' published from the old and current Electronics Magazines here in Australia, Radio, TV & Hobbies, Electronics Australia, Electronics Today Int. Hobby Electronics and now SILICON CHIP, so all boards (with artworks) available either can be made or are stock and to think about making your own is a novel costly academic exercise (both in time and money) but if really needed at 8.oopm saturday night, then yes, go ahead, but to compare costings of a mass produced project board by RCS (or any other board maker) to the time and expense of a DIY, then it becomes folly to the extreme, but to promote the PDF > Circuit board is non-commercial (and silly), however I do wish you all the best, and yes, I can supply all the DIY chemicals and blank UV Neg. Riston circuit board etc. all the best. . . . . . . . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - All these prices are GST EXEMPT for Overseas sales, Australians NOTE !! sc = SILICON CHIP magazine ea = ELECTRONICS AUSTRALIA magazine et = ELECTRONICS TODAY International magazine he = HOBBY ELECTRONICS magazine (originally part of ETi) ae = AUSTRALIAN ELECTRONICS magazine ar = AMATEUR RADIO Action magazine wi = WIRELESS INSTITUTE AUSTRALIA magazine xx = RCS DESIGN (or Radio) Special Projects (ATV etc) end of file THISYEAR.txt - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - On the OLDTONOW.txt file, (on this web site) this shows ALL the boards grouped in Magazine type order, in an increasing part number order list. Amateur Radio have NEVER Permitted any Amateur to purchase premade circuit boards they publish, so you have to make them yourselves, so please NO questions, about certain 'un-made' circuit boards, sorry. But occasionally to get around copyright, I re-do the artwork 'my way'. As to their decision to ignore their own amateurs is akin of stupidity Boards (items) Payment by MONEY ORDER, CHEQUE, BSB etc are (if in stock) sent out first available friday but if not in stock, then they are made in a mini-batch through next week and sent out following friday. We do NOT accept Plastic Cards owing to the common fraud committed, as we do not pay $53.oo per month for an online 'swipe' card unit and if when wrong numbers given or if accidently written down by us, the Banks will NOT bother to chase such petty amounts. ( so use Aust. Post Money Order) Pack and Post Charges are calculated out on the RCSORDER.txt (form) http://www.rcsradio.com.au then goto the EAETISC Project Hobby Board page, for all the mag boards Bob Barnes sales@rcsradio.com.au (o2) 9738-0330 end of file
