This is the un-official info web page about Silicon Chip.
This information is aimed at newcomers to electronics and those people unaware of the role this magazine plays in the overall scheme of magazines here in Australia.
Silicon Chip has been around since 1987, it came on the scene and the crew are basically all ex E.A. for reasons which are too political to print. In any case the Editor is Leo Simpson (heard of him before) They offer a very high calibre of technical research and they do fiercely defend their security prior to publication (not even I know what's coming).
