Need
an RF Aerial Analizer - 135MHz to 525Mhz ?
The
GMTKLOCK
.exe (97k) program was written by a friend
of mine (Gavin) and the demo version displays for 20 seconds there-abouts,
to give you an idea how it works, the read me file included informs you
the costs of the full version - with NO time out. This program is for the
ham shack and allows you to view local time in the main centre clock
with 4 other smaller clocks at the 4 corners of a VGA IBM (or clone) screen
you can edit any city etc.
.
Amateur
station or Automatic Repeater Identifier, 16 or 20 second version (depending
on which chip you purchase from DSE.) 2 relays - 1 for momentry timer and
the other for message duration, so the ISD can either 'inject' or 'take
over' station Id announcements. Intially designed for our ATV repeater
(VK2RFM) on the 2nd channel using a real human voice, NOT that awful DALEK/VOTRAX
simulation, very easilly re-recorded, auto triggered from every minute
to 1 hour (or whatever you set the time base (unit) on the 555>4040),
demo version at factory front counter, to be released at Wyong, February
22nd 1998, (4th Sunday), boards and plans to be available, working demo,
all garden variety components from DSE etc, no special micro's to be programmed,
click onto pcb pattern for larger view, thousands of uses, sales announcements,
amateur CQ callsigns and signatures, to be known as the TXID1620. Be where
you are not ! This unit has Line in and Line Out features. The board is
blank, (160mm x 130mm) drilled, rolled solder and you get full component
listing overlay etc, a schematic will be made in the next few weeks to
support. Total costs for ID board would be about $
see text. $ plus a full 'how it works'
is available for the interested amateur contructor. Blank board and full
listing component listing / plans etc is email
for price boards available.
This
one is a 'cut down' version of the above, with NO timer, 1 relay for message
duration radio shack P.T.T. etc, strictly chip record/play push buttons,
(160mm x 60mm) ideal for 'personal in the shack 'cq' 'over' ' special closing
call-sign routine' fancy doorbell, it will be known as the VKID1620. This
unit is for manual operations only, cheaper than the one above, it has
Line In/Out features also, so it can be downloaded from your cassette/CD
player or the sound card from your computer as like the above unit. A full
' how it works ' is available for download.
Blank board and full component listing / plans etc for email
for price of board. Pack and Post is $ 3.30 - so send money order soon....
*** STOP PRESS The manual version of the above 4602s using the ISD1416 is meant for Australian Components from D.S.E. etc, the 4606s is the same as the 4602s except it will use a Tandy/Radio Shack miniature 5v relay, available world wide. Due mid March/April 1998.

.For
ATV'ers or any composite Video Signal, o.5v to 2.0v in with automatic AGC,
1.0v p/p output. Can be used between VCR to VCR or VCR to ATV etc. Originally
in an old BATC CQTV, then updated by Eric Edwards WALES, then again re-vamped
by our members at VK2RFM Australian Amateur Television Club (Sydney), improvements
made were the better impedance matching both in and out (75ohm) and the
inclusion of trap coil, uses an IC type AN302. Part
Number is AATC018A, For pricing and pack and post goto EAETISC PCB Listing

Looking
for a Real Transformer for a Power Supply ?
Looking
for some electric elements ?
This project is to fix up VCR to VCR personal copy jitter, as described in EA 1997 December, classed as a Video effects unit it will 'repair' damaged or interfered with signals thus spoiling the bonafide copies etc. Goto the listing of all pcbs (1961>now) and look up 97VES11. Australian PAL system.... send an email to RCS (Bob), for myself to send back the 97VES11.gif file.
RCSJVFAX.txt is an ascii doco txt file , also with 2 other related gif files, one is the JVFAX1 mk2, aka (HAMCOM) the current model with a well proven track record by many thousands of amateurs. The unit is a very simple one which uses a 741 I.C. plus a few diodes and a transistor, it will fit into the smallest of plastic jiffy boxes for easy assembly. This is known as JVFAX1B or the RCS 3754s. When the board is supplied it comes with a full component value information slip of paper. For pricing goto EAETISC PCB Listing of all magazine project pcb's, tile 2 (the listing from 1960 to now) and 'find' JVFAX1. send an email and ask for JVFAX1.gif
The other file in this collection is known as RCS4325s, this is the new different design modelled off the european version JVFAX APT as given to me by a friendly radio nut. It will take many months (allowing for the usual interuptions) to prove the prototype currently being built by Warren Johnston. send an email and ask for RCS4325s.gif picture
DTMF Projects, 2 models, 1 from Silicon Chip 1991 May by Greig Sheriden and another from RCS, our own version modelled off the earlier style (with author support), now improved. ...
This is commonly known as the BAYCOM or POCKET PACKET board, as described in Electronics Aust. 1993 January, and it is our own artwork based on amateur comments/requirements, This board uses the TCM-3105 IC from Dieter Dauner Electronics at Georges Hall (Bankstown Airport) Sydney. The project has been enhanced over the years with 3 LED's now added Tx (PTT) , DTR, CTS etc. for prices goto the EAETISC PCB Listing of all magazine project pcb's, tile 2 (the listing from 1960 to now) and 'find' 93PP1. email for gif
RFTOOLBX.zip in an interesting collection of RF Utilities for calculating with various RF formulae, a good addition to any RF Engineers's kit of tricks. It was sent in by Boris MOHAR of Ontario CANADA) as freeware by TELEDYNE, with respect and thanks it is now available.
