Dual Tone Multiple Frequency
Whilst there are many of these projects around, this project was designed
using off the shelf components found at any local electronics stockist,
From the MCXXXXX and the 4514 BCD > Decimal decoder and other
available comps. any electronics techo. could build and service.
The 1st one presented is the 12106911 from a local Australian Magazine
SILICON CHIP, this project has been re-drawn because the 'taped' up
version left a lot to be desired, it has several 'momentary' outputs and
a few 'fatched' out-puts. Many of these units have been made,
The 'latched' out-puts 'irked' many users, so a new one
was re-designed based on this well proven design of
Greig Sheriden & it is in 3 sections as listed below.
Section 1 is the Remote Telephone Inter-face,
Section 2 Is the DTMF Logic board with 10 outputs
Section 3 is the DTMF 10 relay Out-put Driver pcb.
