I called into a D.S.E. (Hurstville) store around the end of April, (to purchase a DUET device) and I picked up an ausbuy guide 2000 imagine to my surprise upon reading the insides to find out the founder was a Mr. Harry Wallace, now this name to us electronics blokes/blokettes means nought, but when I saw it connected to a trade name of F.T.WIMBLE, well that threw a different log on the fire, my mate is a printer and all I have heard him say since 1970 is "FT this" and "FT that", all in the MOST ever complimentry way, as far as assistance to the printing industry and his requirements of inks wanted "yesterday".  So, Harry Wallace started ausbuy, and I was aware that one of our early Prime Ministers removed "IMPEX", the requirement for the books to be balanced, in regards to purchasing from overseas, "promoted debt was the order". Now it appears Harry Wallace did not like this and was the only un-elected person with a voice of objection (or could not be "coerced").  I do recommend you pick up this small A5 info-booklet as to smarter purshasing, or click on the logo here for a 'html' over to ausbuy 2000

As an extra bit of interest, go to the library and read all about the "LIMA Agreement", the one which destroyed all local electronics in favour of importing I notice ex-Prime Ministers do not praise themselves in ever mentioning this.

Now hit your 'back' button - thankyou.
