This is not a paid advertisment for Alkay's product, but a serious point to ponder over, about 3 decades ago I was involved with 100's of electric beds (the up/down) transport), and after much gnashing of teeth, it was found out the transformers on ALL the imported beds were designed for 60Hz, not much different you say, well in fact, less steel in the iron core, hence heat was generated. After all the 240v:110v transformers were changed for locally produced items, they were excellent, (no heat) with no problems. Hence my warning, for reliability use transformers designed & built (tested) here in Australia, but if you only have a 90 warranty, on your product then purchase from any 60Hz countries using 'el-cheapo' products. Steel is heavy = $ transport.

Prototype (production) circuit boards are available from RCS DESIGN.
A good tip here for techo's is to purchase a 240v:240v (1:1) 10-15amp isolation transformer for working on 'hot chassis' tv sets and other 'mystery fault' hand tool appliances, with the reason being, that if there is NO Earth return (back to the National Electrical Grid) then you, the techo will NOT be the earth in a very nasty shock or electrocution etc. Now they are NOT cheap, but please don't send me an email from hospital, " I wished I had of used an isolation transformer on that job" and from experience I can tell you Hospital food is pretty good these days, except every 4 hours they wake you up and ask you "are you still awake ?" for testing most tv sets etc then a 5-10amp will do, but for bigger items then you need to purchase as mentioned earlier a 5-10amp (better still a 10-15amp) make the amps fit the required job, as Amps =$ in Fe & Cu.
