Renegade
Groove formed early 2018, since then they have secured residencies
across venues on the coastal area of Queensland.
They cater
for a large range of styles ranging from pop, funk to rock with the
occasional twist of fusion.
Renegade
Groove is the band to make your night out memorable and special event
a highlight! Accommodating with the tastes of the crowd giving them
a relaxed and chilled vibe, or an energetic full band performance
to get the audience on the dance floor!

Rick
Foenander // Vocals
Rick Foenander has extensive experience singing professionally throughout
Queensland for 20+ years.
He has
been the voice in a number of bands such as Second Gear, Mr Perkins,
with high demand fill ins for many other bands such as Sarenda, Wasabi,
Bootleg Flyers, Velvet Kiss and Backroom Vegas just to name a few.
Rick has
a love for music, also is musically multi talented, plays guitar,
drums and keyboard.
At weddings,
functions, parties and pubs Rick is engaging from an acoustic duo
to full rock band performance, getting the audience up on the dance
floor and singing along.
A few of
Rick's favorite highlights would be playing at Indy 2008/2009/2010
and opening up Suncorp stadium match for the Brisbane Broncos in 2017.

Leigh
Clarke // Drums
INTRODUCTION
Leigh Clarke has been fortunate enough to have had the experience
in being able to play in various bands as well as teach for the past
12 years at schools and music
shops, such as Music Cavern, Music Makers, Grunt Machine, Trinity
College, St Josephs and Emmaus College.
In
recent times, Leigh has been teaching at St Teresas
Catholic College and Shake It Up Music Nambour.
HIGHLIGHTS
At the age of 13, I was accepted into the Young Conservatorium
and by the age of 16, was asked to start teaching at Music Cavern.
In 2001 he enjoyed helping judge the Queensland Rock Awards and in
2004 I was endorsed by Premier & Sabian Cymbals.
Leigh has also recorded CDs for various artist with music styles
ranging from Country, Christian, Pop Rock to progressive metal.
In 2015, Leigh played at Suncorp Stadium in front of a crowd of 22,000
as the pregame entertainment for a Broncos home game.
TUITION
My father Kyle Doolan, who played for Rick Price, Greg Doolan and
Wickety Wak 07 Reunion Tour zhad an instrumental role in teaching
me how to play, as well as
heavily influencing my style and technique.
Leigh then received lessons from Michael Thompson who played for Emmanual
Brothers & is one of the top session drummers in Queensland.
Leigh then sought out
lessons from world renowned solo drum artist Grant Collins.
BANDS
Red Paintings
After touring nationally we released a CD and video clip called Rain.
This gained national airplay on Triple J as well as a bunch of other
radio stations. Our highlight gigs were Livid Festival & Adelaide
Fuse Festival.
Kill TV
Kill TV gained national news coverage for its political views which
saw our website gain the most hits in a week. The single War
Machine gained national play on radio stations around Australia.
Highlight gigs were Taste of Kaos Brisbane Entertainment
Centre & Life in Logan Campaign Logan Entertainment
Centre.
Turtle Heads
Turtle Heads was thrown together to enter the Queensland Rock
Awards 2 weeks prior & made the Top 5 in the year that Butterfly
Effect won. It also came 2nd at the Gold Coast Rock Awards
two years running.
The ZooKeepers
The band solely concentrated on cover gigs & corporate gigs around
Brisbane & interstate with 2 to 3 gigs a week.

Ray Kostiainen is a professional musician & teacher with 20 years
experience. He has earned credibility as a sort after musician, teacher
and session recording musician.
