ReproRog TIFF Stuffer

TIFF stuffer is designed to capture documents that have been marked-up in colour. TIFF Stuffer  scans a folder for incoming 24 bit colour TIFF files. Once received the file is analysed and every pixel is converted to either white, black, cyan, magenta, yellow, grey, red, green or blue. The file is then written as an indexed TIFF file with packbit compression.  Conversion takes around 10 secs per file (A1 @ 200 dpi).

Key benefits of TIFF stuffer include:

• Maintain colour mark-ups

• Maintain fidelity of text and lines (no sub sampling like JPEG or PDF encapsulated JPEG)

• File size around 1.2 MB per A1 @ 200 dpi

• Background is pure white, not grey
