This instrument has:
1) An RC oscillator with 13 spot frequencies, (excellent for distortion measurements with adjustable distortion meters like the AWA F240) between 200 and 3600Hz (can be easily modified for other freqs., to 100kHz); the output level can be adjusted from 0-3V continuously, in 10dB ranges, (+/-0.2dB); on 10, 600 or 1200 ohms , selectable. Output coupling is by means of a high quality, shielded wide band transformer.
2) A precision wide-band level meter, with a range of 10mV to 30V, 50Hz to 650 kHz (-80 to +33dBm, +/-0.5dB), with input impedances of 1Mohm, 1200, 600, 150 or 75 ohms.
3) Audio monitor with internal amplifier and loudspeaker.
4) Mains operation; internal rechargeable batteries (2 x 12V, not supplied) or external 48VDC.
This instrument model was used by Telecom for many years and proved to be very reliable. It has many other features like voice simulator generator, a weighted response filter to CCITT (psophometer), monitoring outputs, variable gain compensation, etc.
A copy of the circuit and a carrying case is supplied with the instrument.

Temperature Chart Recorder, simple and beautifully made, in near new condition. Panel cut-out:138x138mm, depth:approx.260mm with cables. The front door swings open to change the chart roll and the pen, the complete recorder slides out of the cabinet when a lock is released. The expended chart folds neatly at the bottom of the holder in a tray. Temperature range of scale fitted (can be changed) is 0 to 200°C, in 2°C steps; 4 inch chart with pen. Single channel, 3 speeds(100mm/h,50mm/h,25mm/h), 115/240 VAC, supplied with mains cable and plug. The thermocouple (supplied) is 200mm long, 6mm dia., stainless steel, with an end metal junction box and a 2m connecting cable. Tested OK.

We supply a stick-on scanned copy of a good scale, and full instructions with the instrument; several units have been repaired and are now in use.
