This is a terrific resource for the blind community. I highly recommend it.

Now to a site which I visit quite often to voice chat to all my friends from around the world. I just could not live without for the people!
It's mainly for the blind community. However, sighted folk are extremely welcome. It's only been recent, but before you can chat, you are required to join and get a user name and password, but that doesn't take long.

Now having gone through my entire site not to mention this page, do you sort of see something going on here? Maybe you might have guessed that I'm blind!!! :) I'd actually be quite surprised if you hadn't worked that out by now. :) anyway, my whole point in this sob story of mine, :) is to direct you all to a fantastic site for blindies, but sighties as well. You absolutely need to check out Blind Kiss!
Now, I haven't laughed sooooo much since I first went to the site. Basically it's a page where an extremely sarcastic approach is used to discuss everything to do with us blind people - how we function in everyday life, how we cope with the sighted community etc etc.
But as well as all the text there's a monthly program which is recorded by the two stars who are ... blind themselves. :) there's also the previous months there, as well as the current of course.
what do I think of this humour? Like I say, I love it. I think it's extremely important to be able to talk about our blindness in this fashon. Afterall, without sounding overly dramatic, we can be faced with enough pressures.

Now kids, check out The Zone BBS for heaps of great games, chatting, laughter and blindy language/humour! :)

Ever wanted to know the simple things in life, not to mention the more difficult ones; Well, this might just be the answer. Check outHow stuff works

Ever wanted to know what your name really means? Well now you can thanks to Behind The Name!

And if you're interested in our crazy English language and what's behind some of the crazy words in it, look no further than World Wide Words!

Okay, if you're an ausie, I think you might benefit from the following site.  SchoolFriends.com.au - Find old friends in Australia and New Zealand! I actually recieved the url in a forward from my sister (who went to the same schools as me), so, I went to the site and registered, sellecting both my primary and secondary school, and, it's just sooo cool. It's megga easy to find past students from the school. You've even got email on there, so you can talk within your personal page on the site. Don't hesitate, find your old mate! (Gee, I'm a poet and don't know it!! :)

Now I mentioned who I took a "basics to HTML" course with, but, a site I since found most awesome to learn more advanced stuff is HTMLGoodies

Now guys and girls, you just can't go past Big Brother. It's my absolute most visitted site at the moment! I believe this very popular game/movie/soapy (call it what you will :) was first played/aired in Europe, then the states, then England, and finally Australia.
For those of you who aren't aware of what it is, it's basically a game/competition which started off here for the fourth time approx. ten weeks ago with twelve people living in one house together; cameras everywhere; no privacy; that sort of deal. And a whole lot of surprises along the way.
Once a week, each player has to nominate two people to be evicted the following week. There is then a choice of usually three nominees that the outside viewers can then vote for
And, when it's down to one person, that one wins the game, and a large sum of money!
I find this game highly addictive to watch on tv/listen to live on line.
My parents think I am totally crazy, because I always get highly emotional when a person gets evicted.
We have been through Big Brother 1 and 2 (ah, how does one cope without it? Ask me; I will try and give you my answer. :(
just for the record, my fave people from the first series were Johny and Sara-Marie! and Ben won!
Big Bro 2, my fave peeps were Katrina, Marty, Nathan, Shannon and Jesica! And Peter won!
Then they finally pulled off the Celeb Big Bro mid-way through last year. Hmmmm, the less said about that the better I feel!
Seriously I just don't think that was even played fairly. I suppose the only good thing about doing it with celebs is raising money for charity.
And BigBro 3 finished a few weeks ago. My fave people went to the end -- Daniel, Chrissie and Geggi -- yeah!!!
Also Belinda was up there with my fave people!
Reggi won!! Go Reggi!!!
My fave peeps out of BigBro four, would have to be Merlyn and Krystal (both of whom got evicted! that was just wrong!)
Much to the absolute dismay of my parents, i am wanting to audition! It hasn't happened thus far, but next time, you bett I'll be there! So watch out for me next time round!
Now, attention: I have started up a global list for Big Brother fans like me to talk about any and everything to do with this popular game/show.
