IF YOU HAVE MENIERE'S:
For
the information and support that you may need, you should consider
joining a Meniere's Support Group (fees apply). You can find out more
from the Meniere's Resource and Information Centre, at Suite 4, 18-28
Skye Rd. (cnr Skye Rd and Farrell St), Frankston, Victoria (Australia).
More information is available at the following website: http://www.menieres.org.au/
Or you can phone (03) 9783 9233 (if you are in Melbourne)
or 1300 368
818 (from anywhere else in Australia, for the price of a local call)
I recommend that you
also join the Meniere's Chat Group, which is a free email discussion
group specifically for people with Meniere's.
To join the
Meniere's Chat Group, the first step is to put the address
menieres@ozdocit.org in your email contacts or address book, to reduce
the risk of your spam filter blocking incoming messages from the Chat Group.
Then go to the following webpage: http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/menieres
You need to read the information on the top half of the page.
In the lower half of that webpage is a form, where you will put in your email address, your name, and a password of your own choosing.
To
finish this part of the process, you then need to hit the "Subscribe" button.
After you apply to subscribe, the administrator (currently David Brigden) will email you personally to establish contact.
You need to reply to that email to complete the subscription process.
The
Meniere's Chat Group promotes general discussion of all aspects of
Meniere's.
Messages of support and social conversation are acceptable
in the Meniere's Chat Group.
