Malays And Traditional Medicine - For many Malays, traditional medicine is the only way in which to seek treatment for a disease of ailment. For many Malays, undertaking what people in the Western world might consider more traditional forms of medicine and treatment is utterly unacceptable.
Malays and traditional medicine have been long intertwined. Malays have formed al allegiance to traditional medicine for centuries.
Malays and traditional medicine is a widely accepted practice even in the 21st century.
In this article, we take a moment to briefly consider Malays and traditional medicine. By this article, we home to give an interested man or woman a glimpse at Malays and traditional medicine. By doing so, we hope to foster a sense of understanding that did not necessarily exist beforehand.
Keep in mind that we are not endorsing any traditional medicine described in this article. When it comes to health care decisions, we firmly believe that those choices need to be left to the individual after a careful and complete educational process. Again, the materials provided in this article are put forth for informational and reference purposes only.
It is becoming more difficult for people to practice traditional medicine as associated with Malays. The reason is that so much of Malays and traditional medicine is based on using certain types of plants and herbs that are endangered and threatened in today’s world. Researchers and analysts suggest that some steps need to be taken to protect those plants that form the basis for Malays and traditional medicine.
These steps are:
1. Protect forest areas that are rich in medicinal herbs.
2. Enforce protection laws particularly on plants nearing extinction.
3. Organize the collection and cultivation of traditional medicinal herbs in botaical gardens, herbarium collection and species identification.
4. Conduct a research on traditional medicinal herbs based n taxonomy, natural product ant its effectiveness in healing a particular illness.
Many people are committed to taking steps to protect Malays and traditional medicine.
