Prescription Drugs And Vicodin - Consumers in this day and age have an obligation to educate themselves about prescription medications. No one should ever consume and prescription medication without first being reasonably well versed on the drug itself.

Each extra strength tablet contains hydrocodone bitartrate 7.5 mg and acetaminophen 750 mg.

Other ingredients include colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, povidone, and stearic acid.
Hydrocodone bitartrate is an opioid analgesic and antitussive and occurs as fine white crystals or as a crystalline powder. It is affected by light. The chemical name is: 4,5a-epoxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one tartrate (1:1) hydrate (2:5).
Acetaminophen, 4’-hydroxyacetanilide, is a nonopiate nonsalicylate analgesic and antipyretic that occurs as a white odorless crystalline powder possessing a slightly bitter taste. Vicodin can be habit forming.
Again, keep in mind that this is merely a sketchy overview of prescription drugs and Vicodin. A person considering obtaining a prescription for this or any other drug needs to do his or her homework. He or she needs to make an independent evaluation of the efficacy of a give prescription before ingesting the drug. Safety first very well may keep you healthy in the long run.
