Locks Of Love - One of the saddest things in life is a sick child. Unfortunately, there are instances when a child becomes afflicted with a dire disease. And, as people understand, there are diseases and treatments for diseases that cause a child to loose his or her hair.
Locks of Love is a charity established to assist children who have lost their hair because of a dread disease. As the agency describes itself: Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to economically disadvantaged children under the age of eighteen. The agency has been in operation for a number of years.
Locks of Love provides a unique service whereby the agency accepts donated hair and then creates a hairpiece to be used by a financially disadvantaged child in need of a hairpiece because of the results of a terrible disease.
A person interested in donating hair to Locks of Love can access the charity’s Internet Website at locksoflove.com. Likewise, a person interested in obtaining a hairpiece for a needy child can contact the agency through its Website on the World Wide Web.
Locks of Love also accepts monetary donations. Any donation made to Locks of Love is subject to a tax write off as the Internal Revenue Code allows.
