Dear Health Food Store Owner,
This letter is written at the time when a global battle is being waged in the arena of human health. On one side is one of the largest industries in the world, the pharmaceutical industry, and its unscrupulous "business with disease."
On the other side are you, the health food store owners, and the natural health community of millions of people around the world who are concerned with natural and affordable health care.
Over the past decade, breakthroughs in vitamin research have identified vitamin deficiencies as the primary cause of today's most common diseases, including heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, heart failure, diabetic circulatory problems, osteoporosis, and many forms of cancer. I was privileged to contribute the discovery that heart attacks and strokes are an early form of scurvy.
Together with my colleague, Dr. Aleksandra Niedzwiecki, and for the first time in medical history, we documented the natural reversal of coronary artery disease in heart disease patients. Subsequently, I received the world's first patent for the natural reversal of cardiovascular disease based on vitamin C, L-lysine and other essential nutrients.

| In 1994, the United States guaranteed access to all vitamins and information pertaining to health with the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act
(DSHEA). Reacting to this law, the pharmaceutical cartel regrouped at the international level and sought legislation using the power of the United Nation's Codex Alimentarius (Food Standard) Commission. Since 1996, the pharmaceutical cartel has attempted to outlaw vitamin therapies for all member countries of the United Nations - that is worldwide. |
Over the past five years, our efforts have been focused in Europe because the German pharmaceutical companies (Bayer, BASF, Hoechst/Aventis) and the German government lead the effort to control all nutritional supplements. In 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, with the help of European vitamin consumers, we succeeded in freezing the plans of these unscrupulous special interest groups.
Another attempt to outlaw vitamin therapies will occur at the next Codex Alimentarius meeting in Berlin, Germany, in October 2003.
Should these plans succeed, the U.S. will undoubtedly be forced to regulate supplements and eliminate any "competition" from the independent health food stores and the natural health industry.
The rest of the world will also follow suite! All member countries of the UN will be forced to harmonise their countries legislation with that of the UN and World Trade Organisation (WTO), therefore, defeating the "Codex" is a precondition for the long-term survival of your store.
Unfortunately, some health food industry representatives have publicly stated that the "Codex" decisions would have little or no impact in the U.S. or overseas because the DSHEA or an individual countries own legislation and laws would prevent their implementation. Having opposed the interests of the Codex Alimentarius in Europe for half a decade, I can only warn you that the pharmaceutical industry fears no law of the United States or law of any other country around the world. |

More and more leading U.S. politicians share this view with me. Just one month ago Congressmen DeFazio and
Congressmen Paul sent a letter to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Tommy Thompson.
The letter implies that "Codex" would be a catastrophe for vitamin consumers worldwide. Currently "Codex" threatens American consumers.

Exactly
the opposite is true!
Now, a few months before the decisive "Codex" meeting in October 2003, we again witness a flood of propaganda about the dangers of vitamins and natural supplements and regulation inadequacies!
This is no coincidence.
These falsehoods are a deliberate, strategic public relations effort on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry to discredit effective and natural therapies. The tactics are consistent and unscrupulous. You can set your watch: before the meeting of the "Codex" Commission, the public sees a demonic portrait of vitamins and nutritional supplements. The tainted rhetoric is played again and again for those undecided "Codex" delegates and the people of the world!
In light of these facts, any health food industry representative who downplays or negates the threat of "Codex" is a menace to your store.
Although the natural nutritional industry has moved to counteract the bad publicity directed at vitamins by launching the "Dietary Supplement Education Alliance"(DSEA), it has hired an international public relations firm that also serves the pharmaceutical interests in promoting legislation in the European Parliament to eliminate natural therapies.
Similar to the DSHEA battle in the USA, you must inform and mobilize your customers now. Only if millions of people worldwide unite will we win this historic battle against the "Codex" plans. In the mean time you can also distribute to your customers, information in regards to my research on Vitamin therapies!
