| These are the Vegie Bays under construction There were built to last a long time. |
I experimented with growing the tomato horizontally along a suspended wire in both directions. | The capsicums (Peppers) seemed to like growing in the Vegie Bays. |

| Marigolds have always been my favourites. Later I discovered they were good to have in the vegie garden. | This was my original vegie garden. I moved the compost bin and built the Vegie Bays later on. | I experimentally grew a zucchini. It grew very well, no wonder, because the roots came out of the bottom. |

| This is a bit of a selection of bok choy, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, beans and marigolds. Mostly I use the no dig method, by covering the ground with mulch. | The original corn (bought seedlings) were a disaster, they were full of mush and bugs. So I planted some seeds and the corn were fantastic (multicoloured). | The soil in original vegie patch was not very good and needed the addition of lots of compost. I bought a load of mushroom compost. |
