TonkesEye - breakthrough Rain God technology set to revolutionise C3N

Brad Tonkes, Chris Hunter July 15

We've all been there - batting beautifully only to be incorrectly given out leg before. Now though, it seems questionable umpiring decisions may be a thing of the past thanks to TonkesEye from Tonkes Tomorrow's Technologies Today Pty Ltd.  Based on the well known Hawkeye technology, TonkesEye goes a step further by actually taking into account information from the batsman before making a decision, which makes for a more natural and human-like end result.

This revolutionary technology was given a trial run during the recent Rain Gods' fixture against BYOB with promising results. In particular, it was able to conclusively confirm that Julian Boot, batting at number ten for the Dark Caps and on fire at the time, was certainly not out (adjudged leg before for 9), entirely vindicating the fiery wicket-keeper's appalling lack of sportsmanship at the time.

As Brad Tonkes, the developer of TonkesEye says, wrong decisions do not have to be part of the game we love.
