North
Shore Rowing Club is located on the beautiful Lane Cove River
at Longueville. It is the oldest sporting club on Sydney's
north shore.
For
130 years rowers have enjoyed the facilities the club
has provided.The constitution of the North Shore Rowing
Club
gives as its main objective "the encouragement
of the practice of amateur rowing". Doing this
the club has given health and strength to thousands
of
young Australians.
Club members have achieved many notable successes over
the years in State, National, and International competition.
Today
the club is home to many Masters rowers and also provides
a base for a number of schools to row from including Roseville
College and St Andrew's Cathedral School. |
