North Shore Rowing Club is located on the beautiful Lane Cove River at Longueville. It is the oldest sporting club on Sydney's north shore.

For 130 years rowers have enjoyed the facilities the club has provided. The constitution of the North Shore Rowing Club gives as its main objective "the encouragement of the practice of amateur rowing". Doing this the club has given health and strength to thousands of young Australians. Club members have achieved many notable successes over the years in State, National, and International competition.

Today the club is home to many Masters rowers and also provides a base for a number of schools to row from including Roseville College and St Andrew's Cathedral School.

The club encourages new rowers to join and enjoy the benefits of this wonderfully healthy sport on Sydney's most beautiful waterway.

January Winner Mab Gross

The winner of the Pointless Exercise on 24 January was Mab Gross, who tried to withdraw by text message citing bad weather but was enticed out of bed with stories of a waiting quad.

Due to last minute adjustments Mab was sent out in the Cougar with Helen Ritchie and due to equipment failure had to return from the Bridge.

Hard to beat that! Thanks to Helen who arranged breakfast, Jacqui Wilkinson who did the finishing line and Mike and Norma Perry.

The next Pointless will be February 28.

The remaing dates for this season are the last Sunday in ..... February 28, April 25 and June27.   Further details will be provided once we make them up and may include surprise courses.

REGISTRATION should be made the Wednesday before to nsrc.pointless.exercise@gmail.com

Apart from competitors we will of course need some marshals so volunteers would be appreciated.
