Off road racing in Australia is administered by CAMS (Confederation of Australian Motor Sport) It is divided up into 9 classes of vehicles.

Class 1 Buggies
Buggies over 1600cc with 2 seats

Class 2
Buggies over 1200cc and less than 1600cc with 2 seats.

Class 3
Buggies less than 1200cc with 2 seats.

Class 4
Baha Volkswagens up to 6000cc.

Two wheel drive enduro
Production based 2wd vehicles

Class 6 Challenger VW up to 1600cc
Buggies using production VW components .

Class 7 Production 4WD up to 6000cc.
