What is Yoga Alchemy ?

A Yoga school based in Mandurah, Western Australia offering a gentle, exploratory Hatha Yoga. The classes incorporate influences from Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, Desikachar, Satyananda, Mohan, Borg-Olivier and many other yogis. The central aim is to utilise all techniques to achieve a state of deep relaxation by focusing on the integration of body, mind and spirit. This new sense of Self is the spiritual transformation of lead into gold.

Who is the Teacher ?

Jon Gould is a teacher, healer and a philosopher on the nature of the universe. Jon has been an independent yoga teacher since the Tibetan New Year of the Golden Dragon (8 Feb 2000), teaching in Sydney until November 2005.
He practices and teaches a comprehensive yoga with attention to detail, energy and awareness. Just as we are much more than skin and bones, yoga is much more than mere exercise.
Jon is a healer in the form of a bodywork masseur in a variety of styles of massage including Shiatsu (acupressure), Thai (joints) and Swedish Remedial (deep tissue). Harmonise, revitalise, and energise. This is a balancing of the same body, mind and spirit as yoga. Jon is available for massage by private appointments only.
He is also a healer in the form of contemporary qualifications in Senior first Aid, Advanced First Aid and Advanced Life Support. He is also a volunteer member of St John Ambulance.
Jon also studies dance and Martial Arts for even more interpretations on the nature of yoga.
